Today, we learnt about how our bodies can stay hydrated and can easily become dehydrated. Children need to drink 6-8 glasses of water every day. We talked about what helps us to stay healthy as well as hydrated and we also looked at some science behind this. If you don’t drink enough, you can get headaches, be dizzy or drowsy and you cannot think properly.
In our active lesson, we played handball indoors in the hall because it was raining so hard outside. First we played with talking and then with no talking and in complete silence. We discovered that if we talked in the silent game, the opposition team would automatically win. Unfortunately, it happened to my team which meant we never got into the final – but we still came third out of four teams altogether.
Our Brentford coach today was Will as Justin was away. As it is our last week, my class and I would like to thank Justin, Josh, Will and Brentford for teaching us as it has been lots of fun. We especially liked the warm-ups and team games and learnt it is important to play as a team and that sport is fun!
