On Tuesday the 14th of November 2017 ten pupils from Year 6 took part in a borough wide multi-sports competition.
Miss Fyson and Miss Little took the team to Cranford Community College where they competed against primary schools from across Hounslow. Every member of the team performed to their very best standard in racing, jumping hurdles, dribbling basketballs and various other activities.
The most important thing about the APS team was that none of the team had ever represented their school in competitive sport before. The whole team took part and believed in themselves and that’s what counts. We did very well in the group but unfortunately did not win. As Miss McCowan says, “There’s no winners and losers – just winners and learners!”
We definitely left for multi-sports ready to both win and learn.
