School Closure Update

We have been notified by the Local Authority that our school is going to be used as a polling station on Thursday 6th May for the Local Elections. We have no choice and due to safeguarding, school will need to be closed to children.

Because of the disruption in learning due to national lockdown, teachers will provide remote learning for Thursday 6th May which can be accessed via Google Classroom.
The INSET day will therefore be moved to Wednesday 21st July. The children’s last day at school will now be Tuesday 20th July and this will be a full day.

Therefore our School will be closed on:
Thursday 6th May – Polling Day
Wednesday 21st July – INSET Day

I would again like to apoplogise to all families for this inconvenience.

School will be open as usual on Friday 7th May.

Term dates for next year will shortly be published on the school website.
