The Joy of Moving Winter Games

 

The English Football League with partners have put together a range of exciting activities to promote health and keep children active during this time.  Attached is The Joy of Moving Winter Games activity pack to help get children active and healthy physically and to improve well-being.

The Joy of Moving Winter Games is of a pack of fun activities designed to inspire active lifestyles with children, aiming to teach them how to enjoy moving through play and to help them develop positive habits for adulthood. All games and activities are appropriate for children in Key Stage 1 and 2 and have an age recommendation on each game.

All children involved in the Joy of Moving Winter Games can achieve a certificate, which can be downloaded from the Winter Games Pack. You can take part in Joy of Moving Winter Games throughout February.

In the booklet attached, there is an explanation of all the exciting games that your children can participate in. Participation is voluntary; however it aims to be fun and a way of keeping active at the same time. Brentford FC Community Sports Trust (BFCCST) encourages you to share your child’s participation with them on their Twitter page. This is parental choice so you do not have to share your pictures and evidence with Brentford if choose not to. However, it would be lovely to see your fantastic efforts at school so we can share them with our school community. Please send your pictures to your child’s year group email address so we can celebrate their successes with you.
