This week, on Wednesday 23rd January 2019, APS entered our first competition for the New Year, 10 children (5 boys and 5 girls) from year 2 took part in this Hounslow Borough Schools Primary Sports day competition, held by Pete Lammas and Sports Impact. As it was a competitive sports competition, the children went through trials and the top 10 most active and competitive children were chosen by their teacher’s. The children had training for the events such as, relay, hurdles, bat and ball relay and sprint. The children have been practising with their class teachers and were excited to take part in this event. Although APS did not get through to the top 3, they were competitive; working extremely hard as a team and they thoroughly enjoyed the day!
