On Monday 16th January, the Alexandra Primary School Choir had the wonderful opportunity to sing at the O2 arena with 9000 children in attendance. The children sang 9 songs which all had a theme of Wellbeing. The children have been attending Choir every week to practise the songs and dance moves!
There was a special guest appearance from Heather Small from M People, who we sang Proud with. This recording will be released as a charity single raising money for Place2be. We also had the pleasure of a performance from a street dance group called Urban Strides and we learnt how to beatbox with a group called Beatbox collective.
A fun and exciting day was had by all and the choir represented our school wonderfully with their impeccable behaviour and enthusiasm.
“The O2 was a magical experience. The street dance crew were awesome and so were the beatboxers. Meeting Heather Small and Anne (Violinist) and Andy in real life was so cool.” Ayushi
